Seguy (French, 1889-1985) Papillons , 1924 The incomplete portfolio, comprising 14 of 20 pochoirs printed in colors on wove paper, published by Editions Duchartre and Van Buggenhoudt, Paris, the full sheets, loose as issued, colors fresh, in good condition aside from time staining, occasional soft handling crease, some edges with minor chipping, bent or creased corners, occasional surface rub (visible at a raking light), Pl. 1 with two pale water stains at center right, Pl. 15 with 1in hard crease at lower right corner, with title page and table of scientific names paper folio (in fair condition with large tear at central fold), lacking Pls. 2, 5-7, 12, 13 and original portfolio.
