Catalog summary
Erwin Olaf Separation signed, dated 2003 and numbered 4/15 DVD in official box Catalogue Note Separation is about a boy and his mother. A tale of unnamed suffering, about unspeakable fear and uncertainty associated with youth. No violent drama, just as explicit conflicts, rather intangible, barely visible experiences of youthful unwanted loneliness and isolation. Erwin Olaf realized in retrospect how autobiographical the series can be explained: the mystery of making free work at its best.
