Paint layers are well-preserved and although there are some scattered, minute spots of foxing, particularly on the thicker paint areas, the condition is sound overall. Examination under ultraviolet light indicates no evidence of retouching. The colors are lighter and warmer, with a stronger yellow undertone in reality, not as gray as the catalogue illustrated.
