Florence Art Gallery Condition The painting is in good condition overall. The canvas is slightly loose on the lower register and upper right corner. There is evidence of light wear and handling with associated abrasions along the edges and corners, however, paint layers are well-preserved. There are soft networks of craquelures on the thicker paint layers, particularly on the white backgrounds, along the left margin and the red flowers. Upon close observation there are two miniscule spots of paint loss on the red flowers. Examination under ultraviolet light indicates no evidence of retouching. Framed.
