Sale: Sotheby's, New York, Contemporary Art , 6 October 2005, Lot 193 Acquired directly from the above by the present owner Condition Colour:<br>The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is slightly softer in the original.<br><br>Condition:<br>This work is in very good condition. There are a number of fine hairline cracks scattered in places along the four extreme overturn edges. Some light wear is noticeable upon close inspection to the extreme overturn edges and corner tips. Some minute dust fibres have adhered to the work's surface in places.<br>No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light. "In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
