John Wells dance figure signed, titled and dated 1946 on the backboard charcoal, watercolour and gouache 18 by 13cm.; 7 by 5in. Condition On wove paper. The lower edge is slightly stained. Otherwise the work appears to be in its original condition. Held under glass with a hessian slip in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of its frame.
