New London Gallery, London, where acquired by Eugene and Penelope Rosenberg (as Collage I/W 1961) Condition The collaged elements of the present work appear to be securely attached to the supporting canvas, which is original. There are some small splits in the wooden parts of the work which appear to be consistent with the artist's working materials. There is some cracking to the plaster adhesive and light surface dirt across the work, predominantly along the extreme upper edge of the canvas.
