Rowan Gallery, London, where purchased by the previous owner in 1968 Their sale, Christie's South Kensington, 24th October 2007, lot 214, where acquired by the present owner Condition Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. The work is composed of three parts, joined at the reverse. There are traces of surface dirt, studio detritus and handling marks visible to the canvas, most noticeable to the extreme edges and the white parts. There is a horizontal stretcher bar visible, as well as further stretcher bar lines visible in the lower right and top left corners.
