L’immagine sembra vibrare, mossa dallo spirito vigoroso della ruralità. Upon close examination this work offers a spectacular opportunity to observe the manner in which Donghi paints the landscape as a perfect patchwork of colour. It is a clear fusion of subtle filaments which make up the work, imperceptible particles of pigment which reconstruct themselves in our mind’s eye with the quality of dust.
