Note : One of the most striking features of Pasqua's portraits is the frequent absence of eyes, or their altered representation. This absence creates an atmosphere of mystery and ambiguity, inviting the viewer not only to contemplate the face depicted, but also to reflect on what lies behind the absent gaze. This technique can evoke feelings of isolation, loss or even dehumanization, encouraging deeper reflection on the nature of human identity.
