Provenance
Collection of the artist Bequeathed to the present owner Condition Overall in good original condition. The desk is constructed of unfinished plywood, and therefore with discoloration, scratches, chips, and scattered losses throughout. The desk is comprised of three elements which are held together with what appears to be aluminum tubes, and not steel as originally catalogued. This lot is being sold with a letter of authenticity from Lillian Kiesler and with a copy of a drawing showing how the desk is to be constructed. A very rare opportunity to acquire a design by Kiesler made for his own home. In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
