Thus many of his reading notes have survived. I myself have seen several dozen volumes of them. This volume, containing notes on the Guoyu and annotations of Guanzi and Huainanzi , matches the categories of reading notes recorded in Qingzhu quanji (Complete Writings of Qingzhu) edited and published by Ding Baoling during the Xuantong reign. In addition, this volume contains a seven-character regulated verse and a seven-character lyric that are not in Quanji . It is a pity that Ding had not seen them when he edited and published the collection. Inscribed by Xia'an Cai Gongzhuo.
