Robert Mapplethorpe 'IRISES' Gelatin silver print 22 1/2 x 19 inches flush-mounted, the photographer's copyright stamp, signed and dated in ink, and with title, date, edition '4/10,' and number '[MAP] 1838' in ink on the reverse, framed, 1988 ( Complete Flowers , pl. 184) Condition This photograph is in generally very good condition. Upon close examination, small scuffs are visible in the upper portion of the image. A small, thin brown linear deposit of indeterminate nature is visible in the right portion of the image. <br><br>On the reverse of the mount, there are adhesive residue, tape remnants, and a tacky green deposit along the upper edge. Also on the reverse, 'RMG#M8806.040-C' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil.
