Condition

The work is in very good condition. The canvas, seven-member stretcher and attachments appear to be in good condition. There is feather cracking to the turnover edges and a few cracks to the lower right corner, visible only upon close inspection. There is minor rubbing with associated pinpoint paint loss to the upper right corner, lower left corner, and extreme upper right horizontal edge, all visible only upon close inspection. There are drying cracks in places, primarily to the blue and green passages. There are a few flattened impasto peaks in places, likely originating from the artist’s studio. When examined under ultraviolet light, a few very small places in the green and blue passages fluoresce, primarily at center right.
