Catalog summary
Robert Schöller Schöller, Robert (*1950) Men portrait with a Great Dane, 1981 Mixed media Signed and dated lower left 44,1 x 70,9 in framed Robert Schöller became famous for his numerous portraits of prominent models - including many politicians and aristocrats. He says his technique is based on that of the old masters, but brings his own aesthetic flair to the use of space, the arrangement of objects and the dynamics he creates with light and shadow. This results in unique, original paintings that represent more than what is visible. Schöller, Robert (*1950)
