Lucas van Leyden LUCAS VAN LEYDEN (1494 Leiden 1533) Adam and Eve with Cain. 1510 Copper engraving on laid paper. Monogrammed and dated lower right in text panel: L 1510. 16.1 x 12.1 cm. New Hollstein 11b/c. - Fine, silvery impression, with border line on three sides, the upper margin probably trimmed right on the line or just within it. The paper with minimal traces of handling and ageing. Verso with a few thin spots mostly in the margin areas and with minor traces of old mounts. Overall in fine condition. --------------- LUCAS VAN LEYDEN (1494 Leiden 1533) Adam und Eva mit Kain. 1510 Kupferstich auf Bütten. Im Schrifttäfelchen unten rechts monogrammiert und datiert: L 1510. 16,1 x 12,1 cm. New Hollstein 11b/c. - Schöner silbriger Druck, dreiseitig mit der Einfassungslinie, der obere Rand wohl knapp auf oder innerhalb dieser geschnitten. Das Papier mit minimen Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Die Rückseite mit wenigen Dünnstellen überwiegend in den Randbereichen und unbedeutenden Montierungsresten.
