View Lot***Update to the condition report 9/11/2023 1:40 pm: The inpainting is located in an area at top center to top left corner, with faint craquelure in the same area. There may be some inpainting in the lower left corner. However, a lot of the pigments which fluoresce under UV light do not appear to be inpainting, as originally suggested. It is more likely the natural tendency of some of these pigments to fluoresce naturally under UV light. There is a tiny paint flake, very difficult to see, just above center in the flowers; there are some spots of craquelure in the heavy impasto in a few of the petals. On the original stretchers. The work appears to be lined, with either a full glue lining or a strip lining. The stretchers make it difficult to see the edges on the reverse.
